15.Singapur

This yummy postcard from Singapore travelled for 55 days! It shows the traditional Singaporean dishes. Picture on the left top corner shows satay (or sate). Satay is a dish of marinated, skewered and grilled meat, served with a sauce. Satay may consist of diced or sliced chicken, goat, mutton, beef, pork or fish and the more authentic version of satay uses skewers from the midrib of the coconut palm frond.
On the right top corner is biriyani which is a set of rice based foods made with spices, rice and meat, fish, eggs or vegetables.
On the left bottom corner you can see prawn noodle and on the right bottom corner is a picture of popiah which is a fresh spring roll which mainly consists of bean sauce, filling of grated and steamed or stir-fried turnip, jicama, bean sprouts, french beans, lettuce, carrots ... the list is long and makes me hungry at the thought of it ;)

Ta pyszna kartka z Singapuru przyleciała do mnie po 55 dniach. Przedstawia ona tradycyjne singapurskie dnia.
